Job vacancy: Parish administrator

Our wonderful administrator is moving away and so we are looking for a new administrator, to start as soon as possible.

St George’s is a welcoming church, aiming to build deeper relationships in the local community, to serve our neighbours well and be a blessing to Tufnell Park. 
The Parish Administrator plays a crucial role in being the first port of call for St George’s Tufnell Park. The post holder will:

  • ensure smooth running of the church and its activities; 
  • service the PCC meetings; 
  • process all income and expenditure (currently using QuickBooks); 
  • maintain and develop bookings, so that the church building is used well by the local community. 

The right candidate will have a passion for the role of the church at the heart of the community; excellent organisational skills; a friendly and positive attitude. 

20 hours per week, worked over a minimum of 3 days per week. 
£14.14 per hour / £14,705 per annum
