Pet Blessing
We rejoice that God made all creatures and loves everything that has been made. So many of us benefit from the companionship of animals in our homes, and we have an opportunity to give thanks for them at a special service on Sunday 4 October (St Francis’ Day) at 11.30am.
All pets are welcome - as well as photos of pets who might be more nervous or tricky to bring into the church. Please keep dogs on leads and keep your pets close to you, so that all the creatures remain safe and happy.
You can also bring a photo of a pet who has died or moved to another home, for us to give thanks for the time enjoyed with them.
That Sunday there will also be a short, quiet Communion service at 10.30am, before the pets arrive!
