Advent and Christmas at St. George’s Tufnell Park: A Season of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love
Advent calls us to pause, reflect, and prepare for the coming of Christ, the Light who shines in the darkness. At St. George’s, we invite you to journey with us through this sacred season, embracing its mystery and joy through worship, fellowship, and celebration!
The Quiet Gifts of Advent: Reflective Evenings at St. George’s
On Wednesdays throughout Advent (26 Nov, 3, 10, 17 Dec), join us from 7–8 PM for guided reflections that create space for prayer, waiting, and creativity. These evenings help us enter deeply into the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love as we anticipate Christ’s birth.
Festive Gatherings
Beer and Carols (7 Dec): Join us at Tufnell Park Tavern for a lively singalong with friends and neighbours.
Carols by Candlelight (14 Dec): Enjoy an evening of carols and readings in a beautiful candlelit setting, followed by mulled wine and mince pies.
Midnight Mass (24 Dec): Welcome Christmas Day with a traditional candlelit service starting at 11 PM.
For Families and Children
Christmas is a time for all ages! From Bubble Church (7 Dec) to Tufnell Tots Nativity (18 Dec), Christingle (21 Dec), and our All-Age Christmas Service (25 Dec), there are plenty of opportunities for children and families to join in the fun. We also have a Christmas Sensory Drop-In (20 Dec) for children with additional needs.
This November and December, come and celebrate with us. Whether you’re a regular at St. George’s or just curious to see what’s happening, you’ll find a warm welcome and plenty of festive cheer!
