Thy Kingdom Come

The Archbishop of Canterbury has called for a season of prayer between Ascension Day and Pentecost, praying specifically for people to come to know Christ. Thousands of churches across the UK and beyond are joining in this initiative, called Thy Kingdom Come.

Here are three ways in which you might want to get involved:

  1. On Thursday 25 May, Ascension Day, we will hold a short service of prayer and Communion 8-8.30am in the church. In the light of the tragic events in Manchester, we will particularly pray for that situation.
  2. Daily prayer guides to use during this period are available to pick up from church or email Alexandra for a copy.
  3. On Saturday 3 June 7.30-9pm there is a service of prayer and worship at St Paul’s Cathedral For a free ticket to the Cathedral, please book here.

Let's make the most of this season and join together with thousands of others in praying for our neighbours and our world.
